Work

Performer (Tenor)

Jeremy's operatic endeavors have led to soloist engagements with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera, NAFA Orchestra, and others. He was one of the only two successful vocalists selected for the Singapore Lyric Opera Young Artist Program (2016). He has performed for the world premieres of works such as Nicole Murphy’s opera, The Kamikaze Mind, Goh Toh Chai’s Song of The Rising Wind, Philip Tan’s Symphony of Life (Gardens by the Bay), etc. On a lighter note, he is the voice for the 2021 Shopee 10.10 ad campaign on national television, and also the lead character for the National Library Board's The Curious Adventure of the Salaryman.

Vocal Pedagogue

The students of Jeremy have sung in Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof (US National Tour), Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar in Singapore, and awards at international competitions. However, it is the little improvements that fuel Jeremy's passion to share the joys of singing at NAFA, NIE, UWCSEA(East), and his private studio. He has developed programs for the National Silver Academy, and is presently collaborating with Khoo Teck Puat Hospital to develop Tune UP, a singing program for the elderly with lung conditions. He runs the Meraki Vocal Project, a concert platform for people from all walks of life. The series has since sold-out 2 vocal recitals and an early music concert.

Chamber Duo: Double

Double is a roving duo ensemble composed of Singaporean musicians Nadine Ng and Jeremy Koh. Invigorated by a common interest to bring the live classical music experience to new audiences, the multi-instrumental duo explores a wide spectrum of repertoire ranging from pre-renaissance era cantigas to the parlor songs of the early 20th century period and beyond. Since its formation in 2022, the duo was awarded first prize in both Duo Performance and Chamber Music categories at the International Vivaldi Music Competition. They also received a special mention award at the International BTHVN Wien Competition after making their duo debut in a concert at the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator.
